Whole Body Focus (Kime)

Kime is when you tense your muscles at the end of your techniques. This makes your body “hard” so that force transfers into the target.

  • Keep your muscles relaxed at the beginning of the technique so that you can move fast.
  • As your technique finishes, tense the muscles of your legs, torso, and arms to transfer energy into your target.
  • Immediately relax your muscles so that you can move again.
